  • Confident Beginner

    You have finished a quilting project or two and want a little more variety. Our quilt kits labeled for Confident beginners introduce more fabric choices, smaller quilt blocks, and patterns that ask you to match a few points. Think granny squares, simple stars, and jelly roll friendly designs that still come together quickly and feel rewarding at every step.

  • Intermediate

    Intermediate kits are for the seasoned quilter who wants a new challenge. Expect more individual piece cutting, curved or angled seams, foundation paper piecing, and layouts that reward careful pressing. These beautiful quilt patterns take more time, but the fabric is already chosen and coordinated, so your energy goes into the sewing rather than the planning.

Clover Cottons started at my own cutting table. I am a quilter first and a shop owner second, and I put together every kit the way I would want one made for myself. I source fabric independently, choose the latest fabrics from designers I admire, and give priority to women-owned brands and designers whenever I can. 

Clover Cottons is a women owned company, and that shows up in how I work. I answer questions myself, I test the quilt patterns I sell, and I pay attention to the small details, like making sure the background fabric plays well with the prints. What do I need to finish my quilt?

To finish your quilt top into a full quilt, you will also want:

  • Backing fabric, like soft Shannon cuddle minky for a cozy back side
  • Batting
  • Thread for stitches that match your pastel palette
  • A fresh needle for your machine

Are these kits good for a baby quilt?
